Free Bonus Material for Dead Heat
Character Interviews
When I began brainstorming Dead Heat, I felt a little lost. I'd been working with the same characters for four books, and now I had to come up with new ones. To help with the process, I did two things. One was to create a character collage with photos I found online. The other was to interview my characters. The answers I came up with served a dual purpose. Not only did they help me get to know everyone, they also provided bonus material for my readers. Alex’s interview provides the least new information, simply because he offered so much of it in the book. Jade was the most fun to interview, and the Old Man the most interesting (though I had to cut some of his answers because they weren’t socially acceptable.) I began writing the book before I did much with Momma’s interview, so unfortunately I don’t have additional background material to offer about her.
